No knots. We stain picture rail
in our gate factory area. Hooks are not provided.

request. Includes 2 coats of stain and 2 coats satin
polyurethane finish.
Product Description.
When ordering,
you pick the total number of linear feet you want. Shipped in
assorted lengths of 6' to 8'. At last half of your order
will meet or exceed 7' in length. Rail is 1
3/4" tall, and 5/8" deep. As a manufacturer, we
mill our picture rail, so our prices will not be undercut.
Shipping. Picture rail is tightly bound in an 8' box
(6"x6" square), and protected
with industrial bubble wrap for safe transit. All rail ships via
UPS GROUND to continental USA only. Shipping costs based
on weight. Samples ship via US
Postal Service.

Installation. When installing picture rail, it must be
screwed or nailed into studs located behind your drywall or plaster.
This is necessary so that the picture rail can bear the load of
heavy pictures. We recommend square-head trim screws. In some
installations over plaster, you may use liquid nails with 2" brads
installed using a pneumatic nailer, varying the brad orientation as
you move across the rail.
