UPS Shipping Costs for Custom Wood Gates

Once you pick a gate style and size, you will find information about the gate's price. Each price is color coded. This is called its "Gate Series". For one-door gates, the price series may be yellow (A), blue (B) purple (C), grey (D), pink (E), or black (F). Gates within a series all share the same box size. When shipping with UPS, the box size is the most important factor affecting price.

Shipping costs for double-door gates are shown in the right-most column in the table below. Series (G) gates may be a little less in cost.

When you decide to buy a gate, your shipping cost will be determined from the box size shipping to your destination from Greensboro, MD. You will be charged actual UPS rates, with no markup. When you finalize your  FREE gate design diagram, you will also receive a UPS estimate along with your design. If ordering by ORDER FORM, please ask us to e-mail a UPS Price quotation based on the box size, or use the city nearest you in the table below. We will honor either price.

Shipping to zip codes starting with 216, 214, and 199 is FREE. We personally deliver gates to those zip codes..

Estimates for UPS Shipping is shown in the chart below for all gate types (for US Customers).

Canadian customers will be charged UPS STANDARD rates, plus Canadian entry, brokerage, disbursement and VAT fees (approximately a 14% surcharge). There are NO hidden fees after the fact with Canadian shipments. Your quote will contain the complete shipping costs to Canada. Please read our FAQ.

THIS GATE IS A CUSTOM ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCT and is not rated by any third-party safety or juvenile products service. Client is solely responsible for the suitability and fit of the gate.  Use at own risk for child safety purposes. We offer sturdy hardwood construction and narrow baluster post spacing for your convenience. Safety regulations recommend under 4" spacing. Please ensure that you choose the right product to meet your household safety requirements. Default "hook and eye" latch may be replaced by you with alternative latches, Client assumes all liability for the operation and maintenance of the gate.
