You Pick the Slat Spacing
- balusters as close as 1" apart! We build gates to your
requirements. If infants are present, spacing should be
under 3". Narrow spacing ideal for puppy gates!

Slats are strong. The slats on our mission gates sink
9/16" into the hand and footrail. These are strong dado
joints, and much safer than a glued or stapled flat
panel gate.

Caster Wheel - adds
stability to your gate and saves wear on the hinges

ideal when you need to match the handrail height of an
existing banister, or when you have large or tiny pets!

No loose parts. Solid
hardwood construction.

Your provide the safety latch of your choice.
We provide a hook-and-eye latch which is easiest to
install and use. If you have children or eldercare
safety issues, you must upgrade your latch. Once you
hang your gate, it works with virtually any type of
latch (sliding bolt, snap bolt, fence latch, magnetic
latches). We provide
documentation on how to upgrade at your local hardware
store. It is MUCH EASIER to upgrade your latch after you
hang your gate. We do not provide child safety
latches, as we cannot provide 3rd-party certification
for those products.

Need Gates for Stairs? We
provide neatly beveled planks that anchor to your wall.
The planks are finished in the same finish as your gate.
Planks are pre-drilled so they may be anchored to the
wood frame or masonry behind your drywall or plaster.
This is much safer than a compression gate solution.

THIS GATE IS A CUSTOM ARCHITECTURAL PRODUCT and is NOT rated by
any third-party safety or juvenile products service. It meets
most client's needs for regular use, and serves as an effective
room divider. We offer narrow baluster post spacing for your
convenience. Please ensure that you choose the right product to
meet your household needs. Default "hook and eye" latch may be
easily replaced with alternative latches, available from your
local hardware store. Buyer is solely responsible for regular
maintenance of their gate, including repair should the gate or
gate parts become unstable or loose through use or damage.
Seller warrants to Buyer that upon delivery the Products
purchased hereunder shall conform to the buyer's design
specifications, as approved via email or fax. Seller makes no
other warranty, express or implied, with respect to the
Products. In particular, Seller makes no warranty respecting the
suitability or fitness of these gates for any particular purpose
or application. Buyer shall not in any event be entitled to, and
seller shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or
consequential damages of any nature. Buyer's recovery from
seller for any claim shall not exceed buyer's purchase price for
the product, giving rise to such claim irrespective of the
nature of the claim, whether in contract, tort, warranty, or
